My brother (who lives down among you) sent me a bottle of this about 7 years ago. I use 1 steak knife full in my homemade chili which adds a great smokey flavor. It has also become a tradition for any newcomer to our house to have a toothpick of it slivered across a cracker (a little more if they boast they can handle anything hot--ha!) The best reaction I ever got was one of my daughter's friends, forehead sweating and him screaming "I'm not Mexican, I'm Equadurean-too hot!!!!!
I think the word has gotten out about our little tradition. I've even had someone come here with a small carton of milk with them.

Hi Paul! The 3am and 4am bottles are hand signed and numbered by Blair himself. The 4am is numbered 640 of 999 items. The 3am is signed but not numbered - we believe this to be one of the first few that he made - prior to him numbering the bottles. Thanks for the interest!! Pete

So my ex-wife and her boyfriend get off the ship in Key West and wander into your shop. It's nearing Christmas and she figures she'll pick up a few gifts. One reason she and I get along reasonably well now is because I do all the gift wrapping without her around. This includes presents for kids, grand-kids, teachers etc. Rarely do I notice much about a gift beyond its shape, but the bottles of hot sauce with the DANGER warning caught my eye. After wrapping it along with 50-something other gifts, I put everything under the tree at her house (which was my house but I won't go into that). Christmas day comes and I head over to see how my daughter liked her gifts and sponge a free meal. My ex hands me a familiar-looking present. From its shape and weight I knew immediately it was your hot sauce collection. I took it home and the next day I tried some of the ghost pepper sauce. I poured just a couple of drops onto some scrambled eggs--for me a good way to test a hot sauce. DAMN! My face nearly blew off! My whole head started sweating, mouth numbing, brow-wrinkling heat! There was a faint sweetness as my taste buds charred and my whiskers stood up on end. Now I can't wait to try all the others. When these bottles are finished I might just have to pay for her to go on another cruise with a stop in Key West so I can replenish. Maybe we don't get along quite THAT well. Nice website.

Hi all! My wife and I wer at PoKW last Thursday when our cruise made its best stop in KW. Visiting the shop and having the chance of tasting the fabulous range of peppers was by far the best we could ever had done in KW. I enjoyed so much I couldn't stop taking pictures. Of course that was all Pete needed to shoot a whole bunch of jokes on me... My hotness! Mad Dog 357 was the craziest experience in my life and I can't wait to order a few samples when the bottles I brought to Brazil are over... Forget any 5th Ave store... Forget any crazy-purchase outlets... You're the best shop in US by far!!! Best wishes from South America!!!

Hi there Peppers of KW,

I have been coming down to the KW every year for about 7/8 years now and on every trip whether with just my husband, friends or family we come to your shop, Peppers is one of my favorite shops! I always ship back a case, I'm getting low on my last round, I think that means I need to schedule another trip to KW!!! Have a fantastic summer and keep up the great customer service and amazing product selection.

We love you guys!! If you ever consider opening up a shop North...think NY, we have an Island too!!! :)
